Welcome to the SEND page
Sutton Primary School's SEND Offer (Updated July 2019)
Sutton CE (VC) Primary School has an inclusive attitude towards learning. If additional support, interventions or adaptations are necessary these are made to the best of our ability in order to provide our children with the opportunity to fulfil their own personal potential. Currently we cater for children with a range of specific learning disabilities such as ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Global Development Delay, Dyslexia and those with physical difficulties.
Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)
The current Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) at Sutton CE (VC) Primary School is Mrs Wallace who has dedicated SENCo time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She is more than willing to discuss concerns that parents/carers may have about their children’s learning along with the progress that they are making following receiving support or working on intervention programmes.
Please contact the office or your child's class teacher to organise a meeting time or alternatively look out for our SEND Drop in dates. These are days which Mrs Wallace will be available for parents to discuss issues related to your child and their learning whether they are currently on the SEN register or not. Please speak to the office about booking into one of these days.
