Our Christian vision, rooted in the words of Jesus, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10), is the most important part of our school. It shapes every aspect of school life, guiding our decisions, relationships and aspirations for all members of our community.
As a Church of England school, we are committed to ensuring that every child is known, valued and enabled to flourish. This commitment reflects the purpose set out in our original Trust Deed, which was established “for the education of children only of the labouring manufacturing and other poorer classes in the Parish of Sutton.” Whilst society has changed significantly since that time, the principle of serving our community and providing high-quality education for all remains central to who we are today.
